Team Expands with Two New Hires and Promotion!

Colton Strawser Consulting, a leading Arlington-based firm specializing in nonprofit organizations, foundations, and mission-driven entities, is thrilled to announce significant growth within its team! The company welcomes two new hires, Brett Swendig and Jesse Webb, and proudly announces the promotion of Lauren York to Consulting Services Manager. 

Brett Swendig, an experienced Consultant with a strong background in government consulting, joins Colton Strawser Consulting. In his previous role, Swendig excelled in providing municipalities with financial solutions and policy guidance, emphasizing cost of service analysis and revenue recovery options. Additionally, he served as the Director of a nonprofit sports organization, focusing on youth opportunities and athletic development. Swendig's commitment to community support initiatives on the Navajo Nation reservation in Monument Valley, Utah further demonstrates his dedication to making a positive impact. 

Swendig holds a B.A. in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University and a master's degree in Public Service and Administration, specializing in Nonprofit Management, from The Bush School of Government & Public Service at Texas A&M University. He has also earned a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida. Swendig resides in Wylie, Texas, and enjoys engaging in outdoor adventures and sporting activities with his family.  

Jesse Webb, an ambitious Intern currently pursuing a Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at the University of Texas at Arlington, is a valuable addition to the Colton Strawser Consulting team. Webb brings extensive experience in psychological research and organizational development, having served as a research assistant in the PELICAN lab at UTA. Webb's exploration of feedback, forecasting, creativity development, and leadership styles equips them with a deep understanding of research methodologies and their practical applications. 

Driven by a desire to make a difference in the nonprofit sector, Webb aims to leverage his statistical background to uncover meaningful connections between nonprofits and communities. His goal is to drive positive change and maximize the impact of nonprofit organizations as a consultant and analyst.
