Community foundations have three distinct operational roles, including asset building, grantmaking, and community leadership. Program Design Academy
The Program Design Academy offers funders a strategic and impactful means to invest in the nonprofit communities they serve that goes beyond traditional grantmaking. This six-month program includes webinars, personalized coaching, and assessments to empower nonprofits to design, improve, and/or expand effective programs. Furthermore, it equips participating nonprofits to position themselves favorably for future funding opportunities from other key sources, like additional foundations, corporations, and government entities. Another added benefit is that our cohort-based approach fosters organic collaborations among participants.
Gear Up For Impact
Invest in the future of nonprofit organizations by providing our Gear Up for Impact program to the nonprofit professionals you support. This three-month organizational assessment and coaching program can ensure the long-term success of the organizations you care about by empowering them to build stronger organizations and leaders. Our program bolsters grantees' organizational effectiveness by enhancing capacity in the key focus areas: adaptability, leadership, management, technical, and organizational culture. It also helps the participating nonprofits prepare for future funding requests from other key funding sources, such as additional foundations, corporations, and government entities.
